Version 14.1 Training Videos

Watch this series of training videos to learn about the new features in Mozaik Version 14.1, including automated shelf separation, manufacturing operations, and new CAD tools.

Watch time: ~28 mins (Total)
Applies to: Mozaik Version 14.1

New Parameters & Automation

Learn how to use the new parameters added to Version 14.1 to automate your interior construction and boring.

Automated Adjustable Shelf Separation

Parameter: ShelfHMinSep (Category: Interior)
Learn how to automatically add multiple shelves to automated interiors with a specified minimum shelf separation.

Automatic Back Linebore & Thru Bore

Parameters: 32mmBkLBMinW & 32mmBkLBThru (Category: Boring)
These parameters automatically add back line boring based on the minimum width of the product. If you use a Qualified Tenon construction for backs, setting 32mmBkLBThru to "Yes" will automatically apply boring to the back of the cabinet back and perform a thru bore.

Toe Skin Max Length

Parameter: ToeSkinMaxL (Category: Toe)
Adjust the maximum length of the toe kick material length using this parameter instead of relying on the 96" default.

Manufacturing Enhancements

These features are available specifically for Mozaik Manufacturing customers.

MFG Operations and Fasteners

You now have the ability to see operations in the Product Editor and 2D/3D Viewer. Operations such as Confirmat screw locations can be detailed with the Fasteners tab turned on in the hardware library, helping convey product construction to your shop and customers.

MFG Dovetail Drawer Box

Learn to set up a Dovetail drawer box. When Dovetail Construction is selected, the sides of the drawer box will run in between the front and back parts. You can specify drawer side pin depth based on your dovetail machine requirements.

No Front Drawer Box (Drawer Bottom to Face)

Learn how to remove the drawer box front by selecting Plant-On-Bottom for the drawer front in the Drawer Box Library and adding fasteners to the drawer box.

Drawing & CAD Tools

Frame Dimension Labels

A new layer called Frame Dimension Labels has been added to the Elevation layers (Elevation Layers Cabinet Cabinet Labels Frame Size Labels). When enabled, this shows the Face Frame Width x Length in the Elevation view. This is ideal for displaying frame sizes in MultiPrint, Assembly Sheets, or Elevation views.

Continuous Dimension Tool (CAD)

Use the new Continuous Dimension Tool in the CAD Tools section to help keep all manual dimensions aligned on the same plane.
